Do you know the new Alfa-Giulia advertising? "You do not need this car, you do not need a car with 510 hp and Italian design." Very funny and not quite as flat as advertising otherwise so come over. Even the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio needs no man, and certainly not with 280 hp and leather equipment. Nevertheless, the first SUV of the Italian brand can now be ordered precisely in this completely superfluous configuration.
280 Turbo-PS and all-wheel drive
The First Edition introductory model has a 2.0-liter turbojet with 280 hp and 400 Newtonmeter of torque under the hood. There is also an eight-speed automatic with shift paddles and an all-wheel drive. In normal driving conditions, the Q4 system operates like a rear-wheel drive. If the rear tires reach their limit of adhesion, the electronics will shift forward up to 60 percent of the torque. The system is also used to generate an agile curve behavior. Alfa promises a top speed of up to 230 km / h and a sprint in 5.7 seconds, the standard consumption is seven liters smooth. For the whole package you have to browse a hefty 56,000 euros on the bar of the satisfied grinning trader.
Leather, wood and xenon
But you also get a luxury equipment: xenon headlights with high-beam assistant, 20-inch aluminum wheels and an electrically folding tailgate for example. A classy leather finish, wooden decor strips, eight-way adjustable and heated front seats, an audio system with digital radio (DAB) and a cruise control are standard. The leather steering wheel is heated, the engine is started with an integrated knob, the gas pedal foot meets an aluminum pedal. In the center console there is an 8.8 inch screen for navigation. Among the inevitable electronic devices are a collision warning system with emergency braking function and pedestrian detection, a tracking assistant, a reversing camera, light and rain sensor as well as park sensors at the front and rear.
