Lots of carbon for the open car

Since the beginning of 2016, the Huracán is also available in an open version. This has chosen VOS Performance as the basis for a tuning. The company, which was founded in 2012 and specializes in sports car racing, was able to take advantage of its refinement of the coupé version.

Fixed wing at the stern
VOS is based on numerous carbon components. The already aggressively designed bow is only supplemented by a spoiler lip made of carbon fiber. The modifications at the rear are more extensive: a fixed wing is used here, at the feet of which the logos or lettering chosen by the customer can be attached. Alternatively, a mechanically adjustable spoiler is available for use on the racetrack. A diffuser rounds off the rear view. Additional features include a fuel filler cap and carbon exterior mirror caps. In the wheel arches, black Mansory rims with an orange stripe turn in the vehicle shown. The tires have the formats 245/30 ZR20 front and 325/25 ZR21 rear.

Plenty of carbon for the cockpit
Inside, the shifter shifters, the inner door handles, the ventilation nozzles, the door trim panels as well as the center console were replaced by parts made of shining sight carbon. The same applies to the cockpit cover in front of the steering wheel, which is kept dull in order to avoid reflections in the windshield.

New exhaust system and sports springs
In addition, an exhaust system with mechanical flap control has been installed, which is not only to have an optical and acoustic effect, but also to save ten kilos of weight and to add twelve additional PSs. As an alternative, a titanium plant from Akrapovic is available, which even 20 kilos weight savings as well as a performance plus of nearly 20 hp effects. A sports air filter with better air flow provides better response and a more powerful sound. Last but not least, VOS installed an H & R sports suspension kit, which also lowered the Lambo 3.5 cm.

Aggressive front optics in planning
If the look of the car is too discreet after the VOS tuning, you can look forward to a second design stage, which is already planned. Then the Bolide receives a completely new front apron in the aggressive style of the big brother Aventador.
