Pre-order via smartphone
The special model, which interested customers can pre-order with a smartphone app now, listens to the name "Première Edition" and is limited to only 1,955 copies. That is one reason: in 1955 the brand Alpine was founded by Jean Rédélé in Dieppe - the beginning of a legendary story. Rédélé also chose the name Alpine as a result of his victory at the Alpine Cup in 1954.
55,000 to 60,000 euros
For a reservation amount of 2,000 euros one can secure one of the 1,955 debut-alpine, which are to be delivered at the end of 2017. Three colors are available: blue, black and white. According to the manufacturer, the price of the new Alpine is between 55,000 and 60,000 euros. Whether the "Première Edition" will have special features, design features or equipment is not known.
4.5 seconds to 100 seconds
The technical details of the new Alpine are still largely secret. The car will have a mid-engine that drives only the rear wheels. Most likely, a 1.6 or 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with at least 300 hp. In 4.5 seconds it should go from the stand to 100 pace. In the case of gearbox, Alpine enthusiasts are hoping for a manual transmission, but it will probably result in a double clutch transmission. The design of the new Alpine is reminiscent of the Alpine A110, the most famous model of the brand. We expect an official performance at the beginning of 2017, possibly at the Geneva Motor Show.
